Rye is one of those grains that is often misunderstood.   It has a wonderful nutty rich flavor.  It is amazing in breads and feeds sourdough starter like no other grain.  Some of the best brownie recipes use Rye flour.  Don't worry Rye Does Not Taste Like Caraway!
