A deeply nourishing oatmeal inspired by the traditions of Chinese medicine and the rhythms of nature. This blend brings together whole grains, seeds, fruits, and botanicals that have long been valued as supportive foods for women through many stages of life. With notes of vanilla, toasted seeds, and dark fruit, the flavor is rich, smooth and reminiscent of dark chocolate- without any chocolate at all. Each ingredient was selected for both its flavor and its traditional role in supporting nourishment and balance.
Ingredients:
Oats- Oats are their own nutrient powerhouse, rich in prebiotic fiber and beta glucans, oats provide delicious nourishment while supporting healthy digestive, cardiovascular, and immune health. Our oats are cold rolled, leaving all the unsaturated fatty acids in the grain intact and creating an exceptionally delicious bowl of oatmeal
Red Dates (Jujube)- Traditionally used in Chinese medicine as a nourishing food that helps build and replenish the body
Goji Berries- A treasured food in East Asian traditions, valued for supporting yin fluids and blood
Hawthorn Berries- Multifaceted in its application, hawthorn berries can support proper blood quality and prevent thick blood from forming and creating symptoms of stagnation blood flow
Roasted Black Sesame Seeds- Long valued as a deeply nourishing food, especially for supporting healthy aging and vitality. Additionally, sesame seed helps modulate estrogen values through its high lignan content
Pumpkin Seeds- A source of minerals, healthy fats, and plant-based nourishment that complement a balanced diet. High in zinc and magnesium, both of which influence good egg quality and balance progesterone levels
Molasses- Adds warmth, depth, and natural richness while contributing minerals traditionally associated with helping build iron stores
Vanilla- Brings a soft sweetness and comforting finish that ties the blend together
Cooking instructions: Tear open bag, empty contents into a pot, cover with one cup water, stir to combine. Bring to a boil, then turn down to a low simmer, cover, and cook until desired consistency is reached, about 5-7 minutes. Serve as it, or top with a milk of your choice, we like a splash of heavy cream.
